Bot Coding - Level 1: July 27-31, Section E

This Discovery Lab educator led camp will explore introductory coding concepts and learn how robots can be programmed to complete certain tasks. Kids will create a character out of their Ozobot, then code it to complete a challenging adventure. Children will develop a storyline for their bot, be presented with challenges, and code their bot to overcome the challenges. They will use paper coding for two days, then use the app remote control feature and OzoBlockly editor to practice computer programming. This camp is recommended for ages 7-12, includes one Ozobot and two – 1 hour Zoom calls per day.

Camps are limited to 5 campers per section and include two 1-hour Zoom meetings each day for instruction with scaffolding coding content. Kits can be picked up at Discovery Lab or delivered within a 20 mile radius of the museum (74127) for an additional fee.
